View Full Version : How to get an electric eraser, and which one?

So I'm finding myself in a position where I would like to get an electric eraser... such as the Koh i Noor one, or the Staedtler Mars one...

But as I look for this in my own country of Sweden, I find it..nowhere. Not a single one to be found.

I might be looking in the wrong place, but I just can't find one.

Looking on the net for other options, I find that nothing ships "overseas"... which is weird..since as far as I know, Koh I Noor is Chechz(sp?) and Staedtler is German I thought...

So what to do?

I'm not going to pay twice the cost for the damned thing just to ship it here...not at $70 cost for the product itself.

Any tips, tricks or other help would be appreaciated.

I have the koh i noor one and i barely if ever use it. i do however have a little battery powered one that i use a lot. theres a crazy over priced version by "sakura" but any hobby type store will have one for like 5 or 6 dollars.

The internet is your best bet. I looked up a koh i noor one at Dick Blick, http://www.dickblick.com/zz215/31/
It's my favorite discount art supply store.
And they do ship international too.

EDIT:
I just looked again and it seems the koh i noor is out of stock. But they have a cordless sakura one that's cheaper. http://www.dickblick.com/zz215/14/

I hope this helps.

Where in Sweden do you live? There are proper art supply stores in Stockholm and Gothenburg; I know the Stockholm one can order you stuff if they don't have it in. I'll see if I can look up the store for you, I can't remember what it's called but it's located near Hötorget and they have a homepage. :P

Found it! www.kreatima.se

The one in Gothenburg is called In-Ex, it's located right next to the sci-fi bookstore, near Brunnsparken.

I should add I don't actually know if they have these things; but it's someplace new to check. :)
