Hi!
I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered. I tried a search and couldn't seem to find anything.

I am just wondering if anyone could suggest a good book or dvd to learn clay sculpture/modeling. I have just started modeling and I think I could really use some sort of a technique.

If there aren't any good book or if you feel like helping me this is my problem:

I start modeling say a human figure and once I get the front to look semi good I start to work on the back. Once I get the back looking good I flip the thing around and what do you know, I completely screw up the front. I keep doing this for awhile and I have tried to model the whole thing at once but then the whole figure starts to sag. I guess I probably need to put some armature or something in there to keep it up?

Anyways, if anyone could direct me to a good book or give me some advice it would be much appreciated. If this has been asked before or is in a FAQ please direct me because i couldn't find anything.

THanks!
Kadin
