It has been alittle while since i've posted art.. I moved rooms and bought a new computer, so for a peroid i didn't have much of a chance to get my art on the computer, but anyways here is new art:

Change rooms more often, D.
Solid stuff. The first one has a great expression and the SHARPNESS of the lines is great. I like the interesting poses you're trying out, too. Did you use ref. for any of these? Good werk.

My comments, besides saying that over all everything looks good as usual...

Zombie Vampire: Even though it's just a sketch, I wish the background scribbles either were doing something for the picture or weren't there.

Naked Breakdancing Dude: His forward arm looks bigger than the one that's supporting him. Also, there's some strange anatomy stuff going on in his abdomen.

Rear View: It's hard to tell if this is supposed to be a male or female figure. Not that that's necessarily a problem if that was your intention. The foot seems small, and the anatomy of the sole could be more specific (I know you're stylizing, but it's still too flat).

Torso: I think her collar bones are too high and her shoulders too broad. Her breasts look more like implants than natural breasts (again, not necessarily a problem, but...).

Still, very impressive, especially since I assume these aren't from ref.

The last one was from reference, it was suppose to be a stomach muscle study...

as for the nude back it was suppose to be a female, i've had a few people do paint overs of the hips to make it more female but for some reason i'm sort of liking it as a 'null-gender' piece.

and for the 'stuff' in the background of the vampire piece, i tend to like adding dirt to my pieces, i've always liked tradational work because of the accidently smudges and line marks on the page so i just add them here and there, but you might be right... they could be distracting.

oh yeah and for the abdomen i wanted it to be 'odd'. I was just playing with the curves-- Trying to make it look.... flowing? not sure of the word i want

I like how solid and rubbery the 3 last ones look by the thick linework. I am sure the right woman will stroll along for number one, some sweet summer day, and fix him.

if you look long enough the nipples look like eyes

The sharp lines of the first one is really expressive. I like the last except that her breast looks a little stiff. Nice poses.

I like them in this drawing. It adds to the rawness (or some adjective) of the piece.

davi. i really enjoy the first one. but the third one has such beauty.

its really well done.. reference or no. your hand is apparent in both the first one and the second one.. i am truly happy with those.. im not really fond of your sketching style.. its missing a personal element.. they are a little too rough. which is ok, as i know they are tools but the first one has more "you" and the third one has this same feeling. it carries

good work.

Sweet work! some nice poses the second one is the best, and great painting style on the woman.

The Zombie is striking but Shouldnt his ear be alligned with the top of the eyebrow and the bottom of his nose??

I think the fisrt one is badass. The last one is really good, but like SawnYe stated: her tats do look a bit stiff. I still like it a lot.

Hey Davi these are looking great man, you made a tonne of progress from your earlier stuff I reckon. Developing with a nice and gritty rawness on your side, always appeals to me.

That last one makes an awesome study.

btw happybday dude, just notice that on the main CA screen ;)

Davi-

This is some of the best stuff I have seen from you. I especially am impressed by the female torso piece! Very nice.

You're getting better. The first works a lot, I know the 2nd and 3rd are studies, so good anatomy on them - the last is just good. Creamy.
