I gotta say I litteraly jumped when this image loaded. It's has got to be one of the most raw and intense pieces of art I have seen in a long time. You continue to amaze Andrew.

i like what he has done with the top row of teeth, and the clamp-like nature of the mouth in general.

Nice.
Looks a bit like some of the boomers in the original Bubblegum Crisis anime series.

I really get into the emotion. Seems like you are either in need of a break, or this release is the start of something big for you.
To take guess at the overall meaning, you have become a slave to someone else's creativity (something you may have always vowed you wouldn't), and are ready to explode into a great birth of new creativity.
I may be off on this thought, but I remember doing some pieces for a non-creative client (the kind that “knows” more art than I do. grrrr…) that were way off the chart for him (they were similar to what I see here), but made me feel better for doing them.
If I were to take a guess at the actual look, I keep coming back to a machine-based object (hence slave idea), and with your emotion so excited, I would also guess you were about the rip apart the checks and balances in your world.
Either that, or you captured the feeling of what a sneeze can really feel like…

things in my life have been a bit tense lately, this started off as a stream of consoiusness scribble and evolved into an outlet of rage. making this one helped me express alot of what I have been holding inside and it felt good to release it. as soon as I finished it I felt better
Afrolax- you bring up some really insightfull points, sometimes working within other peoples imaginary bouandaries and expectations can be challenging and stifeling, but that why I make these portraits, I love sitting in front of a blank page or monitor and being able to do whatever the hell I want without anyones aproval but my own.
I do feel something changing inside me, I dont know what it will become but I guess we will all find out together..
