Hello friends,
Hello this is my last work inspired by the movie transformers and some of my favorite personages is Bumblebee the friend loyal of Optimus Primes. Good friends I had a month and half working in this project to it was an intense work that was, because all I have was an image of reference, but angles of the model the back I had to draw and to do skectches so I lose my self modeling. Good the model has around 800 polygons, thought that my computer was going to rub but hold on. A first I have a lot of doubts if could finish him did not I give mind to that and I began to work dedicate between around 100 hours of work in the construction and still has detailed to fix but I fixed him with the time. Good I expect that you guys enjoy this work as I when saw you finalize them images that left in my computer. The program that use for the curious is 3d max and render in Mental Ray.
Ok bye,

Looks very good, although that's got to be WAY more than 800 polys. Was that a typing error? Nice lighting on the Mental Ray render. You should add raytraced reflections to the black windshields (and a little to the rest of him as well.) A more dynamic pose would make this more interesting as a final piece. At the moment his pose is boring like a toy standing up in a shop window. Best of luck,

yeah, resembling more plastic rather than impervious alloys and what-not. try texturing him a little differently, and maybe some better lighting? very realistic, nonetheless, i appreciate the time youve put into it. well done! :D

it does look like a toy, doesn't it?
the black springs joined to his legs remind me of lego. i mean the whole thing kinda looks like one of those lego themes they got going on now...its on the tip of my tongue...dammit...oh well.

it does look good though. its rendered nicely but it does need some light and textures..and that cannot be only 800 polys! lol

anyways, great work, and keep going with it!

I agree to the others that it looks like a toy. Reminds me of the Bionicles from Lego. BUt anyway it's rendered very well and looks really realistic. i thought at first it's a photograph of a real sculpture:P
Overall you did a very good job!
