Hey man :)

Haha i saw that being drawn in class. ;) When you open up your image in photoshop go to Image, and there will be an image size selection, lower it down to 800 pixels or something.

Anyway...post more :D

Awesome SB you got starting up mate, just keep at it. I wanna see some studies. Anatomy will get you everywhere when you create characters. And some environments.

I find a height of 700 pixels is a good size for sketchbook pages.
I'd like to see a fully finished piece, shaded and all. Youve got a good start so far, just get an anatomy book and study your face off! I reccomend Andrew Loomis's book on the figure, it's fantastic.

you have good poses and stuff. if you work on your angles and anatomy a little bit they could look fantastic...also i highly suggest buying an actual ink pen...the way you draw lines could really come to life.

Hey man, this is a pretty good start for an sb. You have some really nice ideas, and your poses are interesting but you definitely need to work on anatomy. You're having a bit of issues on the initial stuff like in this image http://www.conceptart.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=168537&stc=1&d=1184320303 , the guy is pretty much missing almost all of his forehead. Just try and start doing some anatomy work asap and you'll be fine. Update often!

Hey there Supercool!

Looks good in here, but you need to spend more time on your studies!
I see some bridgman stuff, but its not nearly as finished and refined it could be.
I know its easy to throw away the paper and start on something new, but you don't learn half as much as you could! Try to work on it until it looks like it should , I mean, you know when its finished, and when its not, its just that you are lazy!

Anyways, it would be good for you if you practice facial features and expressions, Do some self portraits , and draw the head( not your own ) from profile etc... Your heads are bit to much egg-looking.

The last piece has potential, work on it some more, give it depth , and add more contrast to it + render stuff out! The hands are a bit to small compared to the body, but i guess its easy fixed as you seem to be good at hands.

Keep at it!
