The rendering looks cool...but I can't make sense of it. Really, I tried.

its ok.. its really busy. Notice the eye socket... and the horns... horns are facing forward. And the reddish teeth.. and ... everything behind the jaw is like... robotic muscle.. and.. then 2 spine things...

Its a robotic skull.. with 3 horns.. and a bat-like nose.. and its kinda like.. has its skin torn off.. Thats kinda what i was goin for.

Swampbug, I dig the portrait, and had no problems reading it right away. It does seem pretty abstracted, but that's probably only due to the lighting - it seems undefined, and randomly applied.

However - the skull, wow! I really like that one a lot. It's rough, sure, but it feels thick and substancial.

funny thing, I opened up this thread and figured out the image right away, even before your explanation.

I was drawn to the eye (it's red! in a mass of bluish) and everything fell into place.

Guess I was looking for a pokey finger the first time around...thanks for the patience. I can be slow. :)
