Wips aren't really supposed to be in the critique center. Here's my 2 cents:
Putting him on a white background with that glowing sword doesn't help the glow stand out. The blue is too thick against the white. It's also too much; make the glow smaller while keeping the same blue. You need darker shadows since the sword is glowing. Folds are a big pain, but you need to use reference in this area. Shoot, I thought he was just standing there, but he's coming TOWARDS US yet his expression is more of an "Okay, after 50 episodes, I give up so I'll just fake it...where's my paycheck?" The loose waist cloths need to go further back to show that he's charging quickly.
His left ear is bigger than his right. Why do the outlines look bumpy? Use the smudge tool to smoothen them out. Don't forget about highlights.
Overall, there are only 2 color choices so far - base and shadow. Add dark shadows, darker shadows, highlights, lighter highlights, etc.
Add something to the background instead of leaving it empty.

Putting him on a white background with that glowing sword...
*ahem* Light saber *ahem*
Anyway, yeah, it's way too simple. You need more shading and highlights. The face needs A LOT of shading.

Hi calenderman.
I agree Leftyy, although the crit is a little simple.
Why not start by making the background black and then lighting the character as if lit ONLY by the lightsaber. Perhaps use a ref at home with a shirt on a chair and a lamp or something..should give you a nice idea.
And then later on add some slight bounce lights. That way you'll progress slowly, not getting bogged down in stuff that's not interesting to you yet. Work your way forward. I'm shure there are a lot of tutorials on that sort of lighting in here some where.
keep at it :)
