ok so i took a different approch on this one,
the base of this portrait was a test render of a human head modeled by the one and only Jason Kane, i strated painting over it for fun . then i handed it over to Jason Manely , and he added some of his color theory to it,
I have been wanting to practice "morphing" between heads and i was about due for another portrait so i started adding my features to if from memory. then once i was happy with the colors, i sat down in front of the mirror, to see where my imagination left off, and finished out the painting from life.

The flesh colors are just fascinating...

Neat process

I really like the variety of hues on the side of the face and around the mouth. The only thing I would question in this portrait is the hightlight on the eye, it looks like its on your eyelid not the eyeball itself.

what parts of it were done by jason and what was done by you?
I love the whole idea behind your work..im gonna give it a try later on, i just gotta find a good head model from cgtalk =)

Tell Kane his model looks amazing! Is that the one for the Roman Legionaire? Those neck muscles look great.. oh and by the way nice SP Andrew! nice to see a new process peice.. :)

makes the eye "pop" i think. wierd to watch the bump grow. the first memory morph is so different from the rest. time laps into eachother would be way neeto.
