I love the heron, very lovely. Good job with the detail on the face and feathers. I like your color choice, too. Two things that bother me a little. One (small thing), the patch of black on the bottom of the heron. Just looks a little strange, maybe add a few slightly lighter feathers where it starts to make the transition less sudden. The other thing is the clouds. You have done a good job with texture in them, but they still look too solid and flat. You might consider adding a few layers to them, giving them more "fluff". Anyway, really nice work. :D

I also find the clouds to be a little too harsh especially the top part. The feathers could use some softer edges to blend in with the hard edges. I like the bottom part of the picture the most.

I like this pic, but you know what would make it even cooler. If this was a bird found in Africa. You know what I mean.
