Now Chaos, honey bum, I don't usually participate here, but this topic is right up my street and I can't resist. Finally this salmon- biblical rubbish is over and you've given people something exciting to draw!
First I'm gonna go get some fish&chips, then I'm gonna consume it('cos I'm hungry, I need fuel), and then I'll draw the best f****** room between worlds there can be!
At times when noone believes in me, I have to believe in myself, you know...

Damn-errr- blast!
Spent all day drawing and then batteries in my camera died and I couldn't make a photo of it! And it's too big for a scanner.....

For now I made a quick photo with my mobile phone.
I'll post finished one in better quality tommorow.
Oh, and I understand the focus should be on the environment...Hopefully when you see final image that is not blurred you will realize that really the environment around characters here is much more detailed and plays bigger part then it seems...Just don't reject it pleeeease?

can someone please tell me why I cant post attachments. great topic and I'd relly want to join, but the little sqare on the bottom of the page sais "You may not post attachments". kinda bugs me.

You can't post attachments in any of the weekly activities. Posting images as attachments makes it more difficult for the moderators to copy and paste them into the voting thread.
The solution is to get a photobucket account, upload your images there, and then copy and paste the image codes into your posts.

I hate photobucket though. It shrinks images to 800x600 res, this particular one was originally 3 times bigger... I should've thought about that before making it so large.

Usually I don’t participate in EOW because environments are out of my interest. But this topic is different. It allows to tell some kind of story through picture and that’s quite inspiring.
So here is my entry – kind of reception or interrogation room between two worlds. No requirements about medium so I used Cinema 4D, Painter and Paintshop.

The room seems deserted because we don’t have many travelers those days but when you ring the bell attendant will appear quickly ready to ask you few simple questions."

Nice entry prespage. Interesting idea. My first thought was about purgatory.

That was the original labels on the doors. Heaven/Hell with purgatory as the waiting room. It ended up being a little too direct in its interpretations...Though this isn't much of an improvement either. I was thinking to lose the labels completely and just let the viewer decide, but there would need to be greater detail in the renderings within those little windows.
