while my pencil sketches are improving, my coloring is still pretty horible.
so hopefully, my request/question won't be a bother to you guys and gals:D

I wanna learn how to color probably Pencils and later on Paint. I Don't want my drawings to be completely in solid colors, but i want them to be multi-layered.
eg: http://www.penciljack.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35289

At this time, I do Not want to use Photoshop to do this...

any suggestions/tutorials?

All I can tell you is to push really hard to blend your different colors. Plan on your hand cramping up on you allot.

lol admiral - i usually get a shortage on replies too :bash: Couple o' mediums i can suggest- 1. inks/washes- i have a set, but i rarely us 'em. i think there's a tutorial for them in elcoro's forum (right?) he uses some prismacolor pencils to highlight and layer the flat inks. not sure if they would be best for coloring intricately small areas etc. 2. Also i have a set of prismacolor markers which work out pretty well for me when coloring pencil work.
