i stumbled upon this guy when i was in a comic shop--i noticed this beautiful digitally painted cover to X-Men unlimited #50. i dont really buy comics anymore but i bought this one for the cover alone. I went home and found some images online. Hes my new hero. anyone else familiar with his work?
he did the designs for the animated feature "BLOOD" the last vampire"

Tyboogie,
Thats funny you stumbled upon Mr. Terada. I bought his books at a Japanese store in NYC when the same day we hung out in the East Village!
The store is called Zakka. Your friend knows where it is... near Canal in SoHo. The corner of Lafayette and Central I think.....
Anyways, they have a web site too:
www.zakkacorp.com
This store is the shit! Its the only place in the US I know to buy the books new. There aren't places like that in SRQ...

benzo- i stumbled across that store too last time i was in nyc a couple months ago. awesome store
chris- the 1000 page book of sketches is called "Rakuga King". the smaller book below it is called "Zenbu". i believe the other one is called "Blood The Last Vampire"
i got my copy of Rakuga King on ebay...you can get it for between $30 - $40 US. not sure if they ship to germany...? my friend got his copy by searching for it on google and found a ton of different online book stores that sell it for cheap.

He's got a website (http://www.t3.rim.or.jp/~terra/), but it's pretty sparse.
