Hey guys, I'm a 17 year old student looking to improve my drawings and use of color. I really hope to see improvement by keeping this thread... hopefully I can get some help along the way as well. :)

I don't have much to post at the moment but now that summer is here I will most definitely be doing a lot of sketching.

1 - Speed painting... me messing with lighting.
2 - I never got to finish this one... I started hating it about halfway through.
3 - Audrey Hepburn... although it looks NOTHING like her. Shoot me now. :S
4 - Fun in paintchat.
5 - Another doodle in paintchat. I love Wolverine. Lol.

Awesome blending and color transitions! What program/tools do you use? I'm having trouble making such smooth value changes.

I can't really criticize 'cause I suck at this too, but I'd suggest some general anatomy studies for things like the alignment of the heart-girls horns on her head, and the lighting on her chest, and on Audrey's nose.

Good stuff. The Hepburn portrait is not as bad as you think! I saw an immediate likeness. Its good to be humble but dont be too hard on yourself. :)

you got some nice work . I like the green hair girl and the short hair girl . you should do more life drawing stuffs .you can improve your observation by doing the life drawing stuff . keep drawing ..
