I don't know if its just me or what! but we have T1 lines up here at work and it still takes ages to load threads on conceptart! A lot of them just time out and the screen is all white and it says done. Why is this? And can it be fixed?
It seems like all the other forums I'm on work just fine and are fast!
If anyone has a clue fill me in, thanks!

Its something weird in the forum code.. if too many members are logged in at once it slows down like crazy. However, if you log out and view the board as a guest, it is speedy without hickup.
A good portion of people just only login to reply to topics because of this. It been this way since i registered.:^^;:

The past few days have been the worst its ever been for me. It's devilishly selective, too. Often, irrelevant threads in the lounge will open right up, while threads like my sketchbook or a CoW thread, which I actually really want to see, will only open after about twenty or so attempts. It's just mean like that.
Hopefully the new version of the site people have been talking about will fix this problem.

not just that but the last couple of days with firefox it has been asking me it i want to open up the PHP thread or something with anothre program, but nothing happens whether i press ok or cancel. it's never done this with firefox before - at least not to this extent.
and if i change to explorer it's no better!

Its Bjorn hurri's fault. His sketchbook flooded the site and soaked up the Bandwidth :)

I thought it might have just been an issue with Safari but looks like everyone is having the same issue.

I thought I was just going nuts. I know their updating this site so it might have something to do with that. Browsing is way easier when not logged in. This is a pain though! I can't update my sketchbook or barely post anything without attemting itleast ten times.
hmmmmm...like they say...patience is a virtue. Hopefully they will have it fixed soon. Other then that I think we will have to just wait.

hook yourself up with some 56k modems :) I used that shit for at least 70% of my internet browsing/downloading etc... and you guys with your T1's should know how lucky you are having that stuff.
When I changed to 2mbit, i was pretty happy with CA, whatever it shows a white page once i while.
Serious though... Stop whining

There are only about 80 other threads like this... we need a sticky somewhere or something.
JM said it will be cured soon...
with CA 4.0 (hopefully not 4.04)
