Nice start. Something about the face looks a bit off to me though...the mouth maybe? The shadow leading down to the lip looks a bit Hitler mustache-like. Then again, it may just be this crappy monitor I'm using at work. Nice body though, good anatomy and proportions. Welcome to the wonderful world of sketchbooks, keep posting.

Good stuff! Your painting is great, and your designs and concepts are really cool. The only weak point I see is that some of your faces look a little off. The anatomy is good, but some of them have...form...issues? Anyway, keep it up, and I'll keep looking.

You've got a great imagination and I especially love the surgery type one, the detail on the anatomy is amazing including the way you've made it look translucent and slimey. What do you use, Painter I assume?

I know what people mean about the faces, I'm sort of having the same trouble really as I was brought up on Manga and can't seem to get away from that cartoon look, especially in the eyes [unless what's you were going for]. Personally I'm trying to draw more from photos so I can get a little more realism in my images. Great use of colour and lighting too.

Wow guys thanks for the support, Yes I do admit I am too a victim of the manga anime craze, I am however trying to slowly break away from that style, but its been harder than i thought........but I will get there.

Okay here is a little somthing different, a friend of mine asked me to paint up a russian doll for him, so here is my take on the doll.
Acrylics on unprimed wood.

PS I will try to put together a step by step soon, of how i do my acrylic paint sketches.

About working with acrylic paints, I dont know if you are at all familiar with paint?, I dont know any books that really jump to mind, except those that show you how to paint landscapes and general things using acrylic paint, the books I do look at are more about artists that use the meduim, I try to figure out thier technique and then use that as a bases for starters, I pretty mutch just tried and tested different ways of working with acrylic paint. It really works well waterd down to do washes over the paintings to build them up.
I will be putting a tutorial together to show the way that I use them.
The acrylic paint is very versitile, so you can paint with it in many ways.

I hope this helps
Here is a amazing artist that uses acrylic and oils

Really handy tutorial you made, im gonna try it out when i get back home to my country.

You make coloring seem easy in your drawings, they look so, dont know the word in english, "Genki"....

Do you primarily work in acrylics or do you use other mediums as well?

I think im going to subscribe to this thread!
