Ok so I finally accepted the fact that becoming good is something you really do need to work very hard for. If I want to learn how to draw well, it's not just going to happen. I love this site, and have been stunned by many of the artists here over the years.
Starting today, I am going to work my way up and become a strong drawer and earn my spot on the site :: )
I have minor experience in drawing, was very good as a child, but was never encouraged to follow through with it. God forbid we encourage creativity in our schools.
So here I am, day 1. First time sitting down and actually working through the first few pages of a drawing book. I know that the best way to learn is just to do it, but Andrew Loomis is hard teacher to pass up. Got ahold of a few of his books.
Anyway I hope you all can enjoy this process with me, and if you don't mind critiquing me I don't mind listening ;: )
