opening error...

eh help...
Everytime I try to open a document in PS (or open a new one) it says that it can't create/open a new document because of a program error...
I've tried closing PS and opening it again a coupe of times but it doesn't seem to help.
(I'm on a mac G5 btw.)

That randomly started happening to me when I had CS... luckily it was close to the release of CS2, so I just dealt with no Photoshop for about 2 weeks (those were dark times...) until I got CS2. CS2 never had the problem so I didn't really investigate any further... but I'd try reinstalling whatever version you have of Photoshop and it should do the trick. Make sure you save all your brushes etc somewhere though, I made the mistake of deleting all of mine when I upgraded to CS3... it made me very, very mad!
