Hi,

I need help!! Well here I started this werewolf inspired by the book Talisman. Except I think it looks a bit odd .... so before I start coloring it or inking or whatever I want to fix whatever is wrong with it (something about his shoulders just aint right, and as long as were ont the subject how should i ink him? any suggestions?). Any cc is welcome.

imo, i think the shoulders on the first on are fine. it's a little difficult to tell b/c it's not really fleshed out enough. it's an extreme profile shot so....the perspective that you mention does not really apply.

the second one has some really strong points. when i look at the left side of the face (the creatures right side), everything looks perfect. for some reason i feel the other eye could be pushed towards the inner part of the nose a bit more. also, the point where the bridge of the nose meets the ball of the nose is a bit harsh....let those areas flow into one another. it's a strong drawing but...concentrate more on lights and darks complementing each other. this second one is weighed down with darker tones. bring out some more highlights.

the horns are looking strong. you see how you have a grey midtone on the horns? you need some of that in the face.

my two cents. hope it helps. by the general feel of these...you have the skills that just need to be pushed.

keep'em com'n:chug:

I like the first one a lot, can't see anything wrong there.
I agree with keyth on second one.
