so ive been lurking around these forums for a while now and i was thinking about starting to post my stuff up but before i do that i want to know wether or not i should copyright my stuff so other people wont take it and say that they did it.

As soon as you create something, it is automatically copyrighted to you.
You don't have to do anything, but registering your work with the Copyright Office (if you're in the U.S.) does have some benefits should you ever get in a lawsuit.

Some people put (c) Their Name at the bottom of their pieces. If you are not posting hi rez pics, people probably won't get much use out of stealing your images.
