Best Design School inAustralia

hey, i've got admission to the billy blue school of graphic arts, www.billyblue.com.au , and have heard its good, but also heard that not many ppl know about it... so pls do leave behind msg's.
Also here the third yr is the National school of design, swinburnes graphic design degree. NSD is supposed to be the bestin australia...is it so?

Yeh i think Swinburne is the best in Aus . . at least in Victoria. It has a damn good reputation, and i think coz of that its the hardest to get in?

I've never heard of Billy Blue . . but im not really into design/graphics so that doesnt suprise me.

Im actually looking for a school like Art Centre here in Aus . . i've tried looking but seems like every school is totally contempory art orientated .. and i've had just about enough of that, lol.

hey, you've probs havent heard about billyblue coz its in sydney, but check out its website...it's a terrific place with i think the best coure content of any design art place in aus...

Unfortunately here in Oz we're a bit lagging in this area...no swanky Art Centers or CCADs/etc. for us. I don't even think standalone Illustration degrees exist anywhere here :/

There's also Enmore TAFE Design School, apparently pretty top of the range. It's in the Sydney Region if you're still looking around - http://www.sit.nsw.edu.au/enmore/

Welcome aboard Spoon.takea. Which course are you going to be doing there? I've been teaching the Graphics School there since the start of this year. I teach the First Year drawing subject in the Diploma course, and next year I may be teaching part of the First Year Design Culture and Theory subject in the new Degree course as well. Make sure you introduce yourself and keep me posted on any problems you have so that we can keep making the place even better.
