Thank you Andrew, some work and recognition (Big DL?)

I'm finally trying to post some self-portraits. I have many more than I have here, but I'm trying to get some of the better ones up. I was inspired by Mr. Jones, and for a while was doing them everyday. I don't have quite the time or motivation for that anymore, but I still get some done every once in a while.
Also, last school year I got a ton of recognition, which I indirectly attribute to Mr. Jones' inspiration. I was featured in the school paper as artist of the issue for my portraits, which went on to win the American Scholastic Press Association award for an art page in a high school paper (i have the certificate to prove it :) )
Additionally, I won a sweet thousand dollars for first prize in a teen art competition held by our local shopping mall, again for a self-portrait (and not a very good one in my opinion :rolleyes: )
