I’m trying to work on my colours, I think I was bumping around to get it right.
c/c welcome.

edit: I just updated with a bigger image with the edited arm
and a closeup. Thanks for the response! Much appreciated

AWSOME, love the colours and form. The only thing is I cant make out exactly whats going on, I cant seem to make out his body. But Its so well rendered that It gets away with it.

nice looks like a modern version of our european ceiling paintings (rococo like)

i was expecting the image comics bloodwolf character, but this is a pleasent surprise, i like that the back hand is slightly darker, maybe it could be a bit smaller and show more of the arm. at least that back shoulder.really impressive though, it's got such a smooth painted look.

cool design. the colors work. i lose sight of half of the body but i love the piece. i think though that peckham is right, the back hand should be smaller but i appreciate the fact that it is darker.
great stuff

I’m trying to work on my colours
... you must be kidding !!!
I'd be really interested in seing the picture in a bigger size because from here it seems like it kicks ass ! If I'd be an admin in CA I'd give you five stars even though the picture itself is a bit little.

awesome work, it nearly blew my eyes away...

Jimmy Scifi, thats actually because I left out half of the body, I can see how it can be confusing.

Lume, its funny I thought the same way too especially when the sky was actually blue before.

J.Peckham, metaphysiks, I'm embarrassed that I can't even get the proportions right, I will do something about it.

Living Rope, thanks man, hope you don't mind the small one. I'll definately post a bigger size but first I will need to fix that hand.

The colors are really nice (!), but the figure itself is a bit hard to read. Where are the legs?
I think you're showing a bit too much of the inside of the lower jaw. Looks a bit like his nose got run over by a car.

error, Prometheus|ANJ, glad you think so, I didn't intend to give it any legs but that could have been more interesting.
I will see how much can be fixed regarding the other comments.

i love, great use of color as said, love the hands and costuming, and my favorite the use of swirl and curve.

This thing is rad! I like the face a lot. It is hard to tell whats going on with the body though. Like where the legs are.

Excellent!!

Very well done. I like the symmetry between the curves of the character and the spiraling background. A very strong and alluring piece of work.

t y l e r, darkcult, jwo, nardfrog, Ant4d, MindCandyMan, foster,
tegehel, Lono, daarken, Glenn K, Thank you guys! your encourgement means alot to me.

The colours were the most difficult for me since I still know little about it. It was usually guessing I must say.

I made some screenshots during the progress. I was experimenting with the colours and composition. Unfortunetely some things that I like did not quite work out in the end.

Yeah, I really like the colors and comp in this image. Your attention to detail is astonishing. nice.... Like some others said, I was a little bothered by the missing legs...

I.was.ink, Living Rope, eli, thanks guys!
This piece took longer than expected as usual, slightly more than a month working on and off during my free time. There was a number of things I do not know how to tackle, colour being the main obstacle, so I just keep trying and the whole thing just drag on.

Amazing as always, you've handled the colour nicely.

Just out of curiosity, will this be made into another walk through like the breakbot one on your site?

ShawnYe

I'm not entirely sure whether I will do one like the junkbot I did but hey I wouldn't mind showing all the wrong steps I took.
Thanks sepulveda, Big-Dave.
