This character started out as a mascot for my blog (http://fat-ninja.com/), but I really got into it, so I started developing him a bit. Just thought I'd post in here to see what you real artists had to say:

^ Couldn't get to a scanner. This is just a pic I snapped.

This fits well with the Sketchbook journal/Doodles and Sketches Forum, not the critique center.

Image1 - Do a quick study on how hands grasp a stick object. Also, that's a bit of an uncomfortable position how his right arm is bending back. Usually his elbow should point to his right, not back.

Image2 - He looks muscular rather than chubby. His left calf leg looking skinny could be the suspect. The flying object could have some circular lines around it to show it's spinning, but not the stiff ones you have.

Image3 - Feet should NOT be on the same eye level like that. His left leg should look "longer" than his right. His right side of his body should be up more instead of aligned with his left.

Image4 - The way you foreshortened his left shoulder makes it as if his left arm is a lot shorter than his right.

Image5 - His right calf leg looks like it's bent from his socks. Again, foreshortening.

Image6 - Right hand is bigger than his left.

Image7 - Finger lines extending towards the knuckles aren't necessary.

Image8 - Those are some really tiny hands for a big guy like him.

Thanks for the honesty! Those are some great pointers that I can really use on future work.

I assume you are going for that man mountain, powerful looking fat guy aesthetic. Right now you have too much muscle definition and the incorrect anatomy to pull it off. Find some good reference of the body type you are trying to draw and it will help you pull this off much easier. The muscle goes inside the fat. It doesn't expand with it and fat has a structure of its own.
