This might seem like the lamest question, because it is. I cannot figure out how to post images, and keep them there without those @#$% red x's. I can't link from my geocities site cus it sucks! What is the best method for posting images? Pleeeeease help.

Does your service provider give you free webspace with your account? If so, I would upload to that account and link from there. Many free places do not allow external links to files. Alternatively, you can ask someone to host the pictures for you.

http://www.villagephotos.com seems to do quite well, though their file size limits can be a little problematic for posting art. I haven't looked into how much it costs if you upgrade your membership, but it didn't strike me as all that much.

thanks guys for giving me some words of wisdom, but i think i'm just going to stop using stupid-ass geocities and pay 3 dollas for a bit of hosting, and get ftp ability. I might try that villagephotos, or check out the ISP, but i'm not totally sure what that will be yet, i'm moving into apartment this weekend. So i'll check out one of those. Word.
