yeah i suck at coloring but i thought id give it a go... i dunno i dont like this too much.. i think i went too light on the highlights

adding shadows might help pop this drawing out more

yea man i agree i think shadows would look better .. im gonna try to do em right now.. hope my crappy photoshop skills are good enough :rolleyes:

k i added a bit of shadow .. i dunno if its enough .. i need to practice more on this photoshop stuff

what ya gotta do mr.napkins, is in your head, imagine one light source and then have all shadows and highlights falls accordingly. I usually do shadows before i even color. It will bring out depth and make your pictures pop.

You keep learing, and you will have awsome art.

hmm great advice mr.frog... ive always had trouble with shadows and light sources/ highlights.. i will rememebr this in the future ;) thanks

Get dirty...

dont make fine grandients just put the colors on it like you feel them. dont go in fine details... they come later.

Maybe it helps at least its one way i often use, because i know i concentrate to much on unnecssasary stuff

i dunno what gradients and stuff is.. all i used was the airbrush tool to do the highlights and shadows(which there barely are any).. but thanks for ur advice :D

Hey Killer Napkins, I did a little paintover because your character is really cool. Not saying this is better, just another take. Sorry about the crop, I couldnt figure out how to do the legs.

remember to utilize those pencil strokes, you've got some good lines in there so paint from the highlites of all the muslces etc. and fade them into those lines, that can give you real good definition

whoa ShawnYe that looks friggin awesome man !! thats cool cuz ive never seeen one of my characters look lik e in that style before thats kickass.. thanks...
