Some of your input here would be great. Perspective? It looks off to me, I'll try and make adjustments. What about colors? I thought about making one for during the day, and one during the night. I also plan on populating the streets with people.

This is part of a modular city. A city that can be quickly constructed and moved around to other locations if need be. Simple in design really. But proven to be cost effective with the materials used and can provide help in emergency situations.

Here is the pencil version:

And just beginning to add some color digitally:

Any thoughts or suggestions? It would be great to hear some input.

I'm seeing perspective problems near the eye level. The building on the upper right seems to be a little bit off the city grid. I'm not sure if that makes much sense.

i think you mean upper left. the verticle lines that create the building are slanting to the left.

i think it is basic and has an interesting composition and perspective view.

there is nothing benificial i can say about your beginings of color to the piece.

id say, keep going, add interest and content.
what you might want to try is painting the walls flat and then skewing them to meet the perspective of the building walls, would be fun i think.

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, the upper left area does bother me a bit perspective wise. I'm gonna try and modify that area.

I will try and bring some excitement into the piece as well. I'll post some results as I continue on.

Thanks again guys.

If you look closely, the kirb outside the building in the top left doesn't line up with the kitb in front of the other buildings. This, along with the broader side street makes it look like the building is on a higher plane than the rest.
